This is true, I've been dating more, and figuring out my own preferences and I do have them. I can be honest with myself. I tend to like women with blonde hair but it's not something that's like a "deal breaker". It's just I will notice it more when walking around the city. I like slender women and usually look at her eyes first. As a guy, I'm figuring out what I find attractive. I care that she looks cute and healthy. That can come in many forms. What attracts me first is her eyes and then I look at her hair. Occasionally, we might steal a glance to look at her body but it's not a priority on top of others. Before I ask out a woman I try to see if I can have a conversation with her or there is some banter. I look directly into her eyes and it's exciting. If she's got both then I ask for a date.

I definitely don't agree with the behavior television is trying to generalize why we are lonely and single. I know in my life I need a woman though overall. I'm 30 so I'm part of that 25%. It's nice to have a partner in life to share experiences. However, finding someone you want to be with is a little tricky. After your 20s, you have some experience and know what you want/looking for. I don't know if I necessarily agree in generalizing. As I'm dating more, I'm meeting more women from both America and Eastern Europe. I have found myself agreeing with a lot of cultural values on both sides. I stopped generalizing Eastern European women. The last woman I liked/asked out came from Russia, I only knew one word "kees-ka", which made her curious I think. However, I don't think that is something she wanted to talk about, she had other interests. She was cute and the reason why I asked her out because when we talked she showed me her odd taste in latin music from 1960s and she liked math (differential equations).
