Some of my friends that are women have hair that are falling out of the shower and a common problem is this one:
My hair has been falling out for about a year now. Started after a
surgery and continued after I had Covid. It’s gotten so bad I clean out
my brush daily (if not twice) and the shower drain. I already had thin hair
so losing has made it even thinner. I’ve tried many different strengthening
and volumising shampoos and they just make my hair flat and greasy. I cut my
long hair short. I don’t wash it on the weekends to give it a break.
I rarely blow dry it and I don’t use any hot tools on it. I use a hair
towel to dry and a leave in spray. I switched from pony tails to clips.
I started taking collagen and biotin. I haven’t noticed a difference with
a any of it. Any tips on how to make it stop or get it to grow?
Well this is pretty interesting because I hear about this a lot where hair is really important to a woman because its how she feels attractive. However, it can someone really depressed and anxious if she feels conscious about it and there isn’t a good resource out there.
I read about it
and what seems to go on is the activation of the vanniloid Receptor 1 (PDB ID: 7LPE)
It has a gate opening with a 4 symmetric plane. A calcitonin gene related peptide (CRGP) then gets transcripted to increase IGF-1 production. What the paper is trying to show that these two molecules isoflavanone
and capsaicin
promote the IGF-1 growth. What’s next to read is how they administered the product.
One mg/kg of capsaicin was injected subcutaneously
and
Capsaicin plus isoflavone group were received 0.1 mg/kg/day of capsaicin
with AIN-93M pellets (isoflavone free foods, Clea Japan, Osaka, Japan)
containing 0.5% Fujiflavone
Meaning that they did injection and also ate by food. Isoflavanones can be found in soy-based products and capsaicin can be mixed with saline and rubbed on the scalp and sold as products.
I would try these two treatments first based on some academic research and looking for hair with great moisturize.
