That's true. I'm currently single and I have more female friends I talk to than male. I appreciate their company and talking to them because it keeps me level headed. I genuinely care about them because I know the boundary between friend and a relationship. It also helps me understand women a lot more in general.

It's something I think dudes often forget the value of a female friendship without sex.
