For 3 years I have been communicating with a friend from Ukraine. I treasure our friendship deeply. Last night, she told me about the warning sounds of a possible air raid happening tonight. Which can be found here:
The sounds come as a warning and she is worried because currently they are targeting energy infrastructure as the winter is about to hit. This will leave a lot of people cold including her.
I think sometimes when you hear it and you are aware of what is happening in the world it makes you think. There is happiness and sadness everywhere. For myself, when hearing this I never forgot it. It’s probably sitting in the back of mind somewhere whenever I am working.
I spend my time talking about the news and other politics with her. It’s honestly very fun despite she’s in a war zone. This makes me sad and I need to figure out how to use my own resources to help.
